MOGADISHU — NISA has announced the dismantling of a significant logistical and operational hub in the region following a joint operation with international security partners.

Targeting Infrastructure
NISA reported that the operation successfully destroyed key facilities used for planning and supporting insurgent activities. The destroyed infrastructure included:

A training camp and a residential compound housing senior instructors.
Casualties and Impact
The agency confirmed that eight Al-Shabaab fighters were killed during the operation. Security officials stated that the action has substantially diminished the group’s capacity to recruit, train, and coordinate fighters in Middle Jubba, an area frequently utilized by militants as a base for operations.
