Several Al-Shabaab militants lost their lives in a military airstrike in central Somalia.
Somali National Army (SNA) undertook the airstrike jointly with its international partners.
According to military sources, the airstrike targeted Al-Shabaab militants in El-Wadalan, an area in Galgadud’s Ga’lad district.
The joint operation took place on Saturday.
Another militant base run by Al-Shabaab in Lower Shabelle was also destroyed though the media does not have more details.
