Somali Ambassador to Saudi Arabia has tendered his resignation.
Ambassador Salim Maow Haji resigned from office on Monday.
He added that his exclusion from the Somali delegation that traveled to Jeddah recently dismayed him.
Amb. Haji added that he was unable to access President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who led the delegation.
President Mohamud led a delegation of Somali officials to the Arab League Summit last week.
Apparently, a protocol officer in President Mohamud’s entourage mishandled him too.
There has been no word on this from either Villa Somalia or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
