NKARA — Somalia’s Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, H.E. Hassan Moalim Mohamud, met with Turkey‘s Minister of Justice, H.E. Yılmaz Tunç, for discussions aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationship, particularly in legal and judicial matters.
The ministers examined ways to enhance their strategic partnership in justice administration. Their conversation concentrated on establishing a comprehensive framework for cooperation between the judicial bodies of both nations.
Harmonizing Legal Systems
Both sides stressed the importance of increasing compatibility between their legal institutions to facilitate expertise sharing and the successful implementation of judicial reforms.
The Somali delegation included Somalia’s Ambassador to Turkey, H.E. Fathudin Ali Mohamed, along with high-ranking officials and technical experts from the Ministry of Justice.
This engagement underscores the Federal Government’s dedication to utilizing global partnerships to strengthen the capability and autonomy of Somalia’s judiciary.
