Wadani Party, the main opposition party in Somaliland, has blamed the government for the ban on Al Arabia Airlines and Fly Dubai.
The two international airlines have been banned from operating in the country.
Wadani Party has issued a statement condemning the ban, which it says could have an adverse effect on the country’s economy.
Khadar Hussein, the Secretary General of the opposition party, said the government is yet to provide reasons for banning the two airlines.
He urged authorities to rescind their decision fast to avoid creating the environment for a monopoly to thrive in this sector.
